This research aims to analyze: 1) the main character's experience ofwomen's intersectionality in The Mother (2023), and 2) the main character’sstruggle with women’s intersectionality in The Mother (2023). There search used a qualitative method to analyze the film of The Mother (2023) directed by Niki Caro as the object of research. The data collectionmethods include seeing, dinding, and choosing. The researcher utilizes KimberlyCrenshaw's theory of Intersectionality to analyzer the data through steps ofdisplaying, explaining, and interpreting.The result of this research shows that: 1) the main character's experienceof women's intersectionality in Niki Caro The Mother (2023) including genderbasedchallenges, motherhood and caregiving role, socioeconomic andoccupational status also trauma and emotional burden, 2) the main character’sstruggle with women’s intersectionality in The Mother (2023) including agencyand empowerment, protection and sacrifice, and visual and narrative strategieshighlighting women intersectionality.
