This research explores the representation of class conflict in DenisVilleneuve Dune (2024). This research aims to analyze how class conflict isdepicted and what impact it has on the social structure in the Arrakis fictionaluniverse.This research uses qualitative methods and utilizes Marxist theory andRalf Dahrendorf's conflict theory.The research examines scenes and dialog in the movie Dune that reflectthe tension between the upper class and the lower class.The findings show that the movie depicts a stark divide between the rulingclass, such as House Harkonnen and the Emperor, and the oppressed class ofFremen. The research found that class conflict led to solidarity among the Fremenpeople and contributed to significant social change.The movie serves as a powerful parable to illustrate real-world socialinequality and the dynamics of resistance.
