This research aimed to analyze: (1) the type of femininemasculinity in the male character in Greta Gerwig Barbie (2023), (2) the factors that cause Ken to expose feminine masculinity inGreta Gerwig Barbie (2023). Theresearch uses qualitative method to analyzed the filmentitled Barbie (2023) directed by Greta Gerwig. The collectingdata of the research method includes watching and reading, identifying, classifying, and selecting. The data analysis of theresearch using the methods of displaying, explaining, andinterpreting. The research analyzed the data by applying gendertheory by Judith Butler.The results of the study: (1) the representation of femininemasculinity is reflected in Greta Gerwig “Barbie” (2023) thatinclude emotional expression, way of caring, and aestheticappearance; (2) the factors that cause Ken to expose the femininemasculinity by using Judith Butler’s gender theory.
