University of Sains Al-Qur’an.This classroom action research aims to investigate the implementation of theflipped learning method integrated with social media to improve the englishspeaking skills of eleventh-grade students at SMK Mandala Tiara BangsaJakarta. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting ofplanning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages. Data were collected throughobservations, speaking tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The findingsreveal that the integration of social media platforms such as TikTok andYouTube into flipped learning significantly enhanced students’ engagement, confidence, and overall speaking performance. The average speaking scoresincreased from 13.1 in the pre-cycle to 15.0 in Cycle 1, and 18.2 in Cycle 2. Improve ments were observed in various aspects including pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and idea development. Additionally, students expressedpositive attitudes toward learning through digital content outside theclassroom. These results indicate that the flipped learning method supportedby social media is an effective strategy to develop speaking skills in avocational high school context.
