Data collection methods involvedwatching, reading, identifying, classifying, and selecting relevant information fromthe series. The findings of this research indicate that: 1) Political marriage isportrayed as a strategic tool for building alliances, expanding power, andmaintaining political stability in Westeros. Key practices include arrangedmarriages for children, spouse exchange, consolidation of land and property, anddiplomatic marriages. The purposes center on securing political alliances, expanding power and territory, and establishing peace. 2) The dominant patriarchalsystem significantly impacts women's lives, restricting their autonomy and dignitythrough practices of sexual control, regulation of gender roles, reproductive control, and cultural representation. This system uses women as instruments to achievemen's political goals and ambitions, often sacrificing women's welfare and freedomfor family and royal interests.
