This research is related to the parenting styles carried out by parents in themovie Fatherhood (2021). This research aims to examine the various parentingstyles carried out by parents that can affect children's attitudes and behavior. Thereare three problem formulations in this research. The first is How are the intrinsicand extrinsic elements in the film Fatherhood (2021)?, Next, How are the types ofparenting reflected in the film Fatherhood (2021)?, finally, How does parentingeffect the film Fatherhood (2021)?.Researchers analyzed the film Fatherhood using Abrams' objective theory whichfocuses on intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements, then researchers limitedextrinsic elements to parenting using Elizabeth B Hurlock's theory. The results ofthe findings in this study indicate that there are several types of parenting seen inthe movie Fatherhood (2021), including: Matthew as authoritative parent, Marionas authorarian parent, Anna as authoritative parent, Mike as a permissive parent.
