<note>The decline of polite behavior in the school environment is a growing concern, withmany students using harsh language, skipping classes to smoke, and lacking respectfor teachers, elders, and parents. Based on the above problems, the researcherfocuses on the problem of students and how the influence of Islamic charactereducation, which is based on the Qur'an and al-Hadith, in the Pembelajaran UnggulEnglish textbook eleventh grade published by Bumi Aksara in building the characterand positive attitude of students. This research aims to describe the values of Islamiccharacter education in the Pembelajaran Unggul English textbook and its influenceon eleventh-grade SMK Purnama students. The researcher utilizes a descriptivemethod with a qualitative approach to explore phenomena such as behavior,perceptions, motivations, and actions, aiming to understand subjects' experiencesusing descriptive language and natural methods. This study shows that thePembelajaran Unggul English textbook includes 10 Islamic character education inthe reading section of the textbook, as well as these values are practiced byeleventh-grade students at SMK Purnama which leads to a positive attitude in theirbehavior. In conclusion, Islamic character education in the Pembelajaran UnggulEnglish textbook is influential in building positive attitudes and character ineleventh-grade students at SMK Purnama and can increase their motivation to learn.
