THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TREASURE HUNT GAME MEDIA IN TEACHING CONDITIONAL SENTENCES AT SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 WONOSOBO

In learning the material of conditional sentences, teachers often find that studentlearning outcomes are less than satisfactory. students easily feel bored and sleepywhen learning takes place and are reluctant to discuss the material being studied,this shows that students are not interested in the material so that their learningoutcomes are less than satisfactory. The purpose of this study is to find outwhether hunting media can improve students' understanding of conditionalsentence material and can improve their learning outcomes. This research used aClassroom Action Research (CAR) design with a mixed methods approach. Thisresearch consists of two cycles and in each cycle consists of four stages, namelyplanning, implementation, observation and reflection. The sample taken was classXI TJKT 2 SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Wonososbo with random sampling method.The instruments used in this study were interview sheets, observation checklistsand written tests. The results showed that treasure hunt media can improve studentlearning outcomes. Based on the results of written test data, the data increasedfrom an average of 70 to 73.31 in cycle 1 and 79.3 in cycle 2. Meanwhile, basedon the results of the observation checklist, it increased from 62% to 70% in cycle1 and 80% in cycle 2. This shows an increase in learning outcomes. From theresults of the data above, it can be concluded that the application of treasure huntmedia can improve student learning outcomes.
