<note>English is the number one language in the world, which means that every citizenmust consider it very important to have the ability to write English to keep up withtechnological and educational developments. In this era of globalization, manyproblems or difficulties face students in learning to write English. Therefore, theresearcher takes the initiative to conduct research under the title "TheImplementation of Integrative Method to Teach Narrative Text in ImprovingStudent’s Writing Ability of the Second Graders of SMA Takhassus Al-Qur’an”,with the aim of improving students' writing skills through the use of integrativemethods in learning narrative texts. This study aims to improve students' writingskills by teaching them how to write narrative texts using an integrative method.The method uses in this study is classroom action research, which consists of twocycles of four action research steps: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting, ineach cycle. The researcher uses qualitative descriptive method to collect the dataare interviews, tests, and observation. The researcher conducts a pre-test in the firstcycle follow by treatment and post-test I. Afterwards, a second cycle of treatmentis conducted and ends with a second post-test to determine the final resultsregarding the students' writing skills. This allows the researcher to evaluate thevalidity of the measurement method used. The result of this study proves how theimprovement of students after applying this method. Students are more enthusiasticabout participating in the learning process and increasing their rich grammar andimproving their writing ability.
