ANALYSIS OF INTRINSIC ELEMETS PRESENTED IN JOHN AUGUSTS’ “ALADDIN”

This research is conducted to analyze the main characters personality presented inJohn August movie. There are one problem statements that the researcher used inthis research, how does the intrinsic elements in the movie presented in WaltDisney Pictures Aladdin? The researcher used the qualitative method to examinethe problem. The proposition and approaches that the researcher used is M.H.Abrams. This study also includes the procedures of collecting data and procedureof analyzing data. The result of this study shows that: in the Aladdin movie thereare five main characters and each of them has different characteristics, there areprotagonists and antagonist. The first personalities are Aladdin is impressive,brave, and humble. The second one Jasmine has a kind and courageous nature.The third one is Genie has a romantic, helper, and encouragement. Jafar theantagonist character has an incited, vengeful, selfish and bad. And the last one isSultan has a humble personality nature. Aladdin is a kind person, he doesn't evenask for any anything or payment for his help to the sultan and princess, Aladdinand Jasmine are good people, even though they both have different backgroundsbut they love each other. While Aladdin has a friend, namely Genie, genie is verykind and always helps Aladdin in any problem. Jasmine really loves her father,the Sultan, he is the leader of a kingdom, but there is cunning Jafar who will seizethe Sultan‟s kingdom. However, Aladdin managed to help the Sultan defend hiskingdom.
