This study is aimed to analyze : (1) the type of Turn Taking used by theWillSmith, (2) the difference of Turn Taking between “Will Smith full interview withEllen (2019)” and “Will Smith on Aladdin and Turning 50 in Jimmy Kimmel live(2019)”.The study uses descriptive qualitative method to analyzed the Talk Showentitled “Will Smith full interview with Ellen (2019)” and “Will Smith on Aladdinand Turning 50 in Jimmy Kimmel Live (2019)” on Youtube Platform as theobjective research. The collecting data and analyze includes selecting, classifying,explain, interpreting. The researcher analyzes the data by using ConversationalStyle of Turn Taking Deborah Tannen and George Yule PragmaticThe result of the study: (1) the type of Turn Taking used by Will Smith in twodifference Talk show and two difference host in the same year. The reasecher foundthe turn taking such as Pause, Overlaping, and Backchannel; (2) the differenceabout Will Smith’s Turn Taking in two talk show is different mastery of the stagedue to several things including the host's conversational style which influenced theturn taking used by Will Smith in the two talk shows.
