<note>Learning English is very important to ABK students in the third graders of Agape Elementary School. Especially, in vocabulary. Vocabulary is essential for getting other skills like speaking, reading, listening, and writing. One technique that is able to make the students excited and have motivation to learn the language is by guessing picture game.   The research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. It consisted of two cycles. The research process for each cycle consisted of four steps. They were planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research is all the students in The Third graders of Agape Elementary School. The research instrument used orally test to analyze quantitative data and observation sheets to analyze the qualitative data. The quantitative data only to support the qualitative data. The result of this research showed that guess picture games is effective to improve students‟ vocabulary. This statement based on the improvement of the students average score in preliminary test to post- test cycle II. The average score of the students‟ preliminary test was 25.00, then the average score of the students post- test cycle I was 41.07, and the cycle II the average score students was 46.43. In the results observation sheets the students feel happy and more active in learning vocabulary with guess picture game. Automatically, the classroom action research in the cycle was effective
