    Writing skill is a challenge for students taking English as a foreign language. The gap in the absence of supporting details about the source of writing ideas is what makes writing tough. These issues can be solved with the aid of learning media, particularly in writing. The purpose of this project is to enhance students' narrative text writing skills through the usage of animation movie. 68 11th grade high school students serve as the study's subjects. They are split into two classes, the experimental class and the control class, each with 34 students. The average score for the control class's pre-test and post-test is 51.46 to 69.37, according to the results. The experimental class's pre-test to post-test ratio is 50.42 to 78.33. As a result, H0 is rejected while H1 is approved since t count > t table. The two-sided significance validity test > 0.05 significant level (α), which indicates that there is a difference in the post-test value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class using animation movie media and learning outcomes in the control class using only the guidebook. Based on the calculation of α = 5%, 0.05 two-sided rejection, it can be concluded that H0 cannot be accepted. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the use of animated film media has a significant effect on the writing skills of narrative texts. This can be seen from the significant difference in the skills of writing narrative text in English between the experimental class given learning using animated film media and the control class group that only uses study reference books.
