<note>In special education, there are many children with special needs. One of them is an autistic child. Children with autism are also distinct individuals who need training in both skills and academics. The problem is that not everyone knows about children with autism. We need to look more closely at children with autism. In Exceptional Education, we find many children with special needs. One of them is an autistic child. Therefore we must examine more deeply about autistic children. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of fruit flashcard media in stimulating the ability to think, communicate, and increase the vocabulary of autistic students at Agape Elementary School. In addition to speaking, some aspects of communication need to be trained in children with autism: gestures with the help of media such as images (visual). This research aims to examine the expressive communication skills of children with autism using flashcard media in an early childhood education setting. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The techniques used are observations and interviews. The results of this research provide the evidence that the use of fruit flashcard media helps developing the communication skills taught to children with autism. Therefore, researchers concluded from this study that the use of fruit flashcard media can be used to train communication skills in children with autism and can be used as a reference learning method for parents, teachers, educational institutions, and prospective teachers, can do it too.</note>
